Voyager 2 picture of the clouds of the planet Neptune

Photograph of Neptune by Voyager 2. The Great Dark Spot is visible at the top of the photo. Close to this dark spot are some bright, white clouds. Dark Spot 2 is near the bottom of this picture - with the bright center.

Below The Great Dark Spot is a bright spot nicknamed Scooter. These spots move at different speeds across Neptune and are only occasionally in line like this.
